There is the notion that, “time heals all wounds.” This is untrue. Time can bring healing, but it’s often what we do during this time that brings about relief and renewed hope in the grief journey. It has also been said that, “grief shared is grief diminished.” All who have been involved in the GriefShare bereavement support group can attest to this truth. Through video, discussion and sharing, GriefShare is a 12-session process that brings people together who have experienced loss and who seek support that is confidential and who also seek healing in their unique journey. Our next GriefShare support group will begin on February 19 from 1-2:30 PM at St. Clement Church. St. Clement’s monthly First Friday Exposition and Adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration begins at 9:00 AM, and will continue throughout the day and night, concluding with Benediction at 9:00AM on Saturday morning. The sign-up sheet for volunteering an hour with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament can be found by the Fatima Chapel. Even if you cannot commit yourself for an hour, know that you are welcome anytime during our adoration time to spend time with Jesus whose love for you is infinite.
