Families are asked to attend class one evening each month from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. (a meal will be provided for the family). The rest of the month, you will work through the materials as a family at home. Your home is the Domestic Church. It is where families live out the faith daily.
The upcoming Southwest Wisconsin CEW (Christian Experience Weekend) will be held at Immaculate Conception School in Kieler, WI. The Women’s weekend will be February 13-15, 2026.

Our next Family Promise host week at St. Clement begins on Sunday, February 15. With this date coming up quickly, you will find the volunteer sign-up sheets on a table in the back of St. Clement Church. We need to continue to expand our pool of volunteers, and so we invite anyone in our
pastorate to join us as we bring hope, support and Christ-like compassion to families with kids experiencing homelessness. Contact Bill Manthe at 723-4913, email [email protected], or Peg Jonas at 723-2051 for more information.
As mentioned previously, one of the families that was in the program was able to move into an apartment just before Christmas, but they need a few items to furnish their home. These include a working washer and dryer, dressers, lamps, and nightstands/end tables. If you are able to help with
any of these items, contact Kim Jacobson, the Director of Family Promise of Grant County, at 723-3355. Also, she is looking for someone with a truck or trailer that can help move a couch to the family’s apartment in Platteville. If you can assist with this, contact Kim at the above number.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.

GRIEFSHARE AT ST.CLEMENT
Grief after the death of a loved one can be overwhelming. One can experience a host of feelings, thoughts, behaviors and physical reactions that can make one question one’s own mental wellbeing. There is the notion that, “time heals all wounds.” This is untrue. Time can bring healing, but it’s often what we do during this time that brings about relief and renewed hope in the grief journey. It has also been said that, “grief shared is grief diminished.” All who have been involved in the GriefShare bereavement support group can attest to this truth. Through video, discussion and sharing, GriefShare is a 12-session process that brings people together who have experienced loss and who seek support that is confidential and who also seek healing in their unique journey.
Our next GriefShare support group will begin on February 19 from 1-2:30 PM at St. Clement Church. To register on-line, go to: www.griefshare.org and choose “find a group.” You will see St. Clement listed. If our day/time are not the best for you, you will also see other offerings that may be a better fit. You can also contact Marcia Hampton at 608-732-8849 if you have questions or want to register.
